Inspiration

Martell à Paris was inspired by the 1900 Paris Exposition, the first world fair of the 20th century. The event, at which Maison Martell was represented at the Expo by Edouard Martell, allowed France to showcase its art de vivre and savoir-faire to the entire
world. This joyful and poetic illustration by Pierre Marie depicts Martell Cordon Bleu Extra diffusing its aromas over the City of Light.

Tasting notes

Martell Cordon Bleu Extra is a blend of more than 200 eaux-de-vie that includes a particularly generous proportion of eaux-de-vie from the Borderies terroir, the signature cru of Maison Martell since its founding in 1715. The result is an infinitely soft and round, intense and harmonious taste. Notes of blackcurrant and dried fruit dominate, added to those of candied orange which create a beautiful length in the mouth.
